Goals

AIGHT SO IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN where i actually have time to go out and do stuff so!

we got me a list of goals i need to work on during the summer:

  1. work on landscape/nature (speedpaints 3x a week)
  2. actually start process of learning to draw humans
  3. character studies (10 characters, each sheet will have character’s design sketched out, some motion studies, and character interacting with at least one thing in their environment)
  4. outline story/begin telling story (Pokeventure—NO I KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING IT SOUNDS DUMB BUT IT WON’T BE IT’S GONNA BE AWESOME)

okay so i forgot that the end of the school year is gonna be over/we only have 3 days of finals after tomorrow and that i was supposed to give away all the doodles i had amassed over the school year

and i kept telling myself “oh i’ll scan them in over a weekend or something”

and i never did

so now i have to scan in like a hundred pages of doodles

this gone take a while

All of my classes were study periods for AP testing and all of my friends left me at lunch and basically i shouldn’t have even gone to school today because we didn’t do anything—A case study

this week is testing week and it’s a really big waste of time tbh

I got stung by a wasp recently, and I was searching for something flat to scrape the stinger off of my when some idiot came up and plucked the thing right off.  They meant well, but I would’ve recovered a lot faster if they’d not inadvertently squeezed all the extra poison into the wound. you know for a while there i’d almost forgotten i actually like drawing. vent art.  ignore the writing…and the…lack of quality.  (the dragon’s name is Ren, by the way.  you’re probably see more of him real soon.) Praxian whale-rider hey look i actually finished a thing.  we had debates in english and i think sometime either when we were preparing for them or during them i decided i was done and started doodling this in class.  then i kept adding stuff to it during all my other classes and finished it today in math. i still can’t crosshatch properly to save my goddamn life but i’m getting closer…i think.  i don’t know man i struggle pretty badly with getting depth into the picture. i was in Sacramento for five days where i was in the assembly room of the capitol where we discussed and debated pieces of legislation like the actual government (straight up hardcore legislating just like the actual government.  we go through the WHOLE process).  which is great, except YOU try watching C-SPAN for 8+ hours 4 days in a row.  it’s hard.  i have to doodle or i pass out.
